Involving long, flowing strokes Lomilomi is quite unique amongst other massage techniques.  By working under the recipients own body with these strokes, physical and energetic blockages can be eased into a more beneficial flow.

In a treatment I may incorporate Hot Stones, Kahi Loa, using the Ha breath, Pule and hands on energy work. 

The Lomilomi I have learned is performed with a sarong folded to cover the private areas of one's body in line with what I believe to be the traditional Hawaiian view as these areas being sacred and private.
