Dear Fellow Adventurers,

My family room wall is decorated quite oddly right now, as you can see. I am so excited about expanding the reach of LivingNow and bringing the message to a wider readership that Pedro and I stuck all the dummy story pages up to inspire us and keep propelling us to the next stage, and the next. The A3 printer is only black and white – so that is what we have, but there is quite a bit of black and white in the magazine nonetheless – more chic these days, ;-)

Yesterday I had a big 'aha' about recommencing blogging. Last night before I went to sleep I asked for a dream to show me what on earth to blog about, as this has been the main thing stopping me over the years – heaven knows I find it easy to write once I get going on a subject. The dream I got was quite odd (but then dreams often are). I was inspecting a refurbished apartment block and a designer had decorated them in black and white with touches of red, and, where there was not much room inside, had taken the living room furniture out onto an extended enclosed verandah, but in the public areas. I thought that an odd idea, and how could that have anything to do with the subject of my blog?

Right now, laptop open, I am sitting in my family room trying to meditate on the dream to get the interpretation, and asking for help. I just got a buzzy feeling of being lifted up ever so briefly. I knew I was being helped therefore, and it brought me to tears actually. Suddenly, seemingly from out of nowhere, I got the feeling to open my eyes, and I looked at the black and white copies on the wall, and realised I was meant to write about those. Then of course the penny dropped about the dream – it was my living room that I was to put into the public arena.

It is so obvious to me now too – the refurbished apartments represent the revamped LivingNow, the black and white furnishings represent lots of black and white in the magazine, and the touches of red – well, yes, there are touches of red throughout the magazine too, starting with the new masthead.

Woohoo! I know that we are guided by Spirit, but I just love it when dreams are as literal as this. It proves to me that our every step is watched over – so comforting.
