Really feel your emotions |

Kristy Bergin There’s no doubt that having a positive thought is a more joyous experience then having a negative thought, but if you are pushing down or ignoring strong emotions and ‘pretending’ to be positive on top of them, I don’t think this is really healthy or helpful. Do you really think you can talk yourself into a feeling? Feelings are intrinsic and hard to explain. Like being ‘in love’ – it just happens. You can’t make yourself fall in love. You can repeat positive affirmations over and over all you like – I am in love, I have a wonderful boyfriend, I am a magnet to love etc, etc… and they may make you feel better in the short-term – but I don’t really think they are controlling the universe. I believe manifestation does happen – and it does happen as a result of the energy we are projecting. If you allow yourself to really feel your emotions, to move through them, whether ‘positive’ or ‘negative’ (and I know it’s much easier said than done), you will naturally start to manifest changes in your life.
