First practise self-love

To enable our body, mind and spirit to harmoniously connect us with our dreams it is vitally important to practise self-love.

While many still think of this concept as ‘selfishness’ it is the only way in which we can experience real love in our lives. If we resist practising self-love then we may find ourselves looking for love from other people and other sources which can often lead to unhealthy habits.

When we love ourselves unconditionally, we become aware of what is working in our lives and what isn’t and then have the choice to change. We no longer have a ‘need to please’ or tolerate unacceptable behaviour from others.

If you are unfamiliar with this concept, start small, add some daily practices or rituals to your life that support and please you while lovingly accepting who you are and, most importantly, who you can become.
