At a training course a few years ago, my group all went down to the beach outside our hotel. We had spent the morning looking at our limiting self beliefs and I was feeling like a small, vulnerable victim of life. A flat, black stone in the sand caught my eye. As I bent to pick it up, one of my friends said, “You could collect some and use them as rune stones.” As I gazed at the stone in my hand, I saw lines, clearly etched in white against the blackness of the rock in the shape of some sort of letter. Looking up rune symbols later, the letter in my rock was the symbol for ‘power,’ exactly what I felt was missing from my life. At that moment, I felt a sense of awe that I had asked and the universe had answered.

Synchronicity is so much more than just coincidence. It’s a reminder that life is more than a random series of events and a glimpse into a universe bigger and more amazing than you could have imagined.
