As the conscious observer, we create our reality by choosing what we want to believe. So when we fear something, we believe that something bad can happen directly or indirectly to us, and so it will be. We reinforce it each time we choose it.
When we trust, we are setting in train a ‘re-scripting’ of our whole being that can in time lead us to experience a new emerging ‘non-fear’ reality. However, when we trust we must let go of the outcome that arrives as part of that choice. If we trust that ‘all will be well’ that means we have to drop our idea of what we think that looks like. We have to believe trusting always gives the best outcome... whether or not it looks like that. So here is the key: our attitude has to change before our reality can.
The more we trust, the more we are able to trust. Eventually we get to see that everything in our lives has meaning, value and beauty. The wonderful thing is that when fear starts to dissolve, we stop looking over our shoulder waiting for the next bad thing to arrive in our life. Instead, we can truly be here and now, to fully experience the gift of this life and its ultimate purpose.
