How often do we hear of stories when several people, although viewing or experiencing the same incident will perhaps describe it differently. How  can that be, surely everyone is seeing  and hearing  the same thing. Why then are there different interpretations, perceptions of the event?

How often do we read a letter and interpret the contents one way, although the author of the letter intended it to mean something different. How can that be, individual words have a universal meaning don’t they?

Our experiences in life and our beliefs of life, form our attitude to life, and it is with these tools our perception of events and experiences is formed. They colour our response, our perception. This process happens in an instant and we are usually not aware it is happening .

Gwen Jones and her business partner in Bridging Concepts, Irene Blanck, have a contract with The Monroe Institute in Virginia USA to bring their residential meditation programmes, with Hemi-Sync sound technology to Australia.

During the 1980s a thought came to her, “If being born, living till 80-odd and then dying was all there was, life would be pointless”. Knowing there had to be more she started on a conscious journey of “self discovery”. A journey that continues today still after 30 years.
